Data Analyst Production

Managed the planning of the production of 36.000 monthly tons of cardboard for customers all over EMEA, depending on variables such as forecast, demand distribution, customer's needs, machine restrictions, production speed and capacity. Reached 90% of product availability for customers (monthly). Made high-impact decisions and analysis on what to produce hourly, adjusting the forecast and supply, optimizing the production to minimize waste, setting customer priority and controlling output of differents types of cardboard. Accomplished waste of less than 1%.

Data Analyst Planning & Supply Chain

Led the inventory management, stock levels and availability of thousands of products in 21 warehouses and 100 stores across the US & Canada, attaining OOS levels of less than 5%. Engineered the timely and correct supply of the products in the assortment, whether coming from the central warehouse or the vendor’s site. Considered variables such as sales forecast, lead time, average sales, ABC classification, safety and target stock, supply channels, promotions and in-transit quantities. Obtained 86% availability in A & B products. Commanded the SAP F&R module (Forecast & Replenishment) implementation project for the area, driving forecast from 200% of monthly sales to 110%.

Drove product and inventory management: choice of product mix, price and quantities to purchase. Attained a 30% growth in sales vs last year. Determined products layout, shelf-space, quantity and distribution. Reached 93% growth in sales vs last year for one subcategory solely by changing layout, visibility and shelf-space. Crafted and effectivized promotions, special offers and price variations for numerous products, many of them resulting in a +50% hike in sales. Decided on the discontinuation and addition of new products to the assortment, accomplishing that +10 new products ranked in the top 15 by sales.

Business Intelligence/Data Analyst

Tableau. Wrote hundreds of queries in SQL to access data from different tables and databases, implemented Tableau via the building of 100s of relevant metrics, KPIs, plots & dozens of dashboards. Designed and carried out the Tableau training program for our customers, which taught them how to exploit the software and correctly implement it within 2 weeks, for over 15 companies. Directed the in-house Business Intelligence project, aiming to make deeper, faster analyses and base the company's decision-making in available data. Built +100 visualizations, + 20 interactive dashboards that saved hundreds of hours of manual work a month.

Financial Assistant

3-month internship at the stock broker company RS Investimentos, in the city of Sao Paulo, Brasil. Assisted in the asssessment of purchases or sales of different stocks, carried out national and international macroeconomic analysis, sought out relevant information for financial, stocks & bonds decision-making and kept an eye on the Brazilian stock market.
