• Monitor attendance of classes by staff and escalate any relevant issue to the Head of Department for appropriate action • Handle client inquiries, following up on their issues with respective offices and making any necessary referrals. • Assist in managing students’ attachment, Business plans and projects, ensuring their supervision and assessment. • Assist in Departmental Budgeting process and raising requisitions • Assist in Workload projection for the department • To ensure all reports are prepared on time, proof-read and approved and filed for future reference in accordance with QMS guidelines. • Relaying information to other offices and members of the department on issues of concern. These may include Unit registration, deadlines on fees payment, exam updates to students, change of syllabus, invigilation, return of scripts to students etc • Supervise or assist with supervision of any research studies undertaken by the students • Accompanying students on field trips and educational visits and preparing risk assessments; • To handle students’ grievances that relate to their learning needs. • To provide mentorship and career guidance to students.
