Research (Laboratory) Assistant

Studied the cardiotoxic causes and effects of chemotherapy drugs in transgenic systems. Tasks included literature review of existing laboratory techniques to address this issue, development of research questions, development of a polymerase chain reaction technique to identify damage to mitochondrial and chromosomal DNA, documentation of a standard protocol for this technique, and documentation of research findings.
