On a fortnightly basis the team organises WIP jobs using a KanBan system to determine defined work loads and help meet client team expectations for work completion. Usual stages of the deployment process are Development, Testing, Pre-Live, Quality Check and finally Live. There is great variation in the types of work I have undertaken so far. Some examples are: -Performing manual corrections to millions of records -altering the code in stored procedures and views to change the results of daily processing -addition of file data sources (.txt,.csv,.xls) to existing client databases -creating new output files for client systems using SSIS and automating the upload to an SFTP. -database maintenance by checking unused tables, shrinking transaction logs, and indexing on queries that take an excessive amount of time to produce results. -working on analytics and reporting packages for the rest of the business to function.
