Data Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer / Team Lead

Data engineer, machine learning engineer and team lead working for a multinational consumer goods company called Reckitt from Aubay Portugal. As part of Data Science platform team, I developed and maintained notebooks (Azure Databricks / GCP Dataproc / Spark) and pipelines (Azure Data Factory / GCP Airflow). These notebooks and pipelines performed data engineering and machine learning tasks (Python, R, SQL and DataRobot / H2O) and needed to be scalable for different markets around the world. I had the opportunity to work on different projects like suggested orders and attribution models, always following an agile culture (Azure DevOps). During this time, for two years, I was the Data Engineering team lead on a marketing campaign/sales data science product, managing a team of up to five data engineers from different cultures.

Business Intelligence Specialist

Business Intelligence senior developer and project manager of BI / DW implementations working at Portuguese Tax Authority as a result of the partnership between Aubay Portugal and Novabase, two major IT consultings in Portugal. As a team lead member of the BI / DW project for the finance department at Tax Authority, I was responsible for coordinating a team of three other professionals of the Anti Fraud and Data Warehouse department. Besides the project management activities, I was also responsible for the developing tasks, such as data models design (SAP PowerDesigner), database implementation (Oracle), data integration processes development (Informatica PowerCenter) and reports and dashboards build (SAP Business Objects). Our main goal was to provide righteous and updated information so finance analysts could spend more time understanding how budget, expenses and revenue behave in order to prevent overspending and less time collecting and processing data.

Implementation of Informatica Test Data Management (TDM), Informatica Cloud Integration and Informatica Data Quality.

Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Developer

Project manager and BI / DW developer with experience in all stages of development of DW / BI projects.
