Fully-funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC, 1+3 Studentship), I am undertaking a PhD at Cardiff University exploring the harms of online anti-LGBTQ+ hate speech. My research analyses global survey data to examine how digital hostility impacts wellbeing, safety, and inclusion both online and offline. Situated within the Digital Economy and Society pathway, my work integrates sociological, psychological, and identity theories to generate insights into the real-world consequences of online hate.
