Military Analyst

Serves as a military intelligence analyst and operations officer for the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL). Conducts research, analysis, collections and shares information to facilitate rapid change and quickly close gaps across Doctrine, Organizations, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF). Expedites information exchanges with supported organizations and units. Responsible for cooperation and collaboration with Joint, Inter-agency, and Multinational organizations for collection, analysis, and dissemination of lessons learned and best practices.

National Ground Intelligence Center | Jul 2015 - Dec 2018

Senior Military Analyst

Served as an Intelligence Officer responsible for providing expert research, analysis, and production of operational and strategic level intelligence reports in support of the National Ground Intelligence Center's Asia/Americas Division. I researched and analyzed data to produce all-source finished intelligence products on ground force training, exercises, doctrine, operations and trends. This included analyzing and evaluating ground force capabilities, tactics, techniques, and procedures to support operational forces and national decision makers. While developing intelligence assessments, estimates and projections, I identified intelligence gaps and developed strategies to activate additional collections capabilities to fill them. All work was concluded in a collaborative environment with counterparts in the Department of Defense, other government agencies, and the Intelligence Community (IC) at large to ensure coordination, analytic integrity, and successful fulfillment of the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) mission as the primary producer of integrated ground force intelligence.

Senior Analyst

Managed a team of 10 analysts that were responsible for providing descriptive & predictive analysis of threat characteristics, capabilities, & intent. Planned, integrated, & de-conflicted data collection to close identified data & information gaps. During my tenure, 26 data analytics projects were completed with each culminating with presentations to interested parties throughout the Intelligence Community & multinational partners.

Analytical Trainer & System Integrator

Responsible for the analytical training of 78 personnel in the areas of data collection, management, & analysis. Maintained & integrated analytical systems into all training events while ensuring analysts were properly trained on the systems & that the systems maintained network certifications and compliance.

Deputy Chief / Senior Analyst

Managed a team of 14 personnel & numerous analytical systems. Oversaw the organization’s data collection, evaluation, validation, management, storage, & analysis. Produced 450 daily & 10 special topic analytical products that resulted in numerous successful military operations to eliminate threats to the organization & Afghan population in a multinational environment.

Lead a team of three analysts responsible for producing 30 biweekly information summaries that influenced current & future organizational training & operations. Analyst

Worked on a team of six analysts that was responsible for conducting counter drug & terrorism data analysis. Researched & analyzed data to present 12 special topic briefings to senior leadership that enabled more effective decisions & international relationship building. Served as the department representative for Knowledge & Content Management, ensuring users were able to find & utilize required information held within a Microsoft SharePoint & digital file systems. Worked within a multiagency task force during the Vancouver Winter Olympics tasked to monitor data & report information on potential threats to venues & personnel participating in the games.

Trained international partners on data collection, storage, & processing to enable analysis for presentation to senior leadership. Analytical training consisted of time series, pattern, anomaly, & pattern of life analysis; to include visual representation of analysis in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Special Security Representative

Oversaw the organization’s information & personnel security programs to ensure all applicable policies & procedures were followed for processing, storage, and archiving of data holdings to include personal identifying information (PII). Created, managed, & maintained a Microsoft Access multiuser database that enabled more efficient monitoring & reporting of pending personnel actions. Through the database, users were able to quickly query data and automatically print required forms for signature and processing. In this role, I managed a team of five personnel.

Queried databases to analyze data while creating threat briefings & identify information gaps. Initiated data collection procedures to close information gaps. Conducted interviews to garner & process observational data that could potentially fill information gaps. Managed numerous human resources databases to enable personnel actions to occur on time. Oversaw the organization's information security program, ensuring the organization maintained compliance of all applicable policies & procedures for processing, storage, & archiving of data holdings.

Indications & Warnings Analyst

Monitored new data / information to identify abnormal activities, emerging trends, & patterns by conducting Boolean searches of historic data for comparison. Validated source data & format for inclusion into various databases. Upon completion of analysis, I presented findings & insights during 200 daily briefings to senior management.
