Patient Transporter

As a patient transporter, it is my duty to transport patients throughout the hospital in a safe and timely manner. patient safety is the number one priority and is ensured by using a variety of skills. Some of those skills include sliding patients from bed to stretcher, helping patients walk, and using a lift to move patients. I am also in charge of gathering equipment and taking it to the appropriate location. Additionally, I interact with a nurses and doctors to ensure that patients are cared for and transported safely.

Membership Experience Staff

As a Membership Experiences Staff, I was in charge of working the Front desk. It was my duty to greet the members and make connections with them to make them feel welcome and valued. Additional responsibilities of this position included, informing members of any changes to exercise class schedules, upcoming events, and promotions. I was also in charge of registering members for sports programs, taking payments, making changes to members accounts, and answering phone calls.

Research Assistant

As a research assistant, I was responsible for collecting and recording data for research in Forensic Entomology. The research was done on euthanized pigs to study the effects of wounds in different areas of the body on the rate of decomposition. I used various techniques in the lab to study and identify the specimens being collected. I was also involved in going to the field and recording observations that were important the research being conducted.
