• Technical Architecture: Lead the design and deployment of centralised Snowflake Data Warehouse for NZ’s National Public Health Service (NPHS), integrating 10+ critical health data sources (lab results, disease registries, patient records) using Meltano (ELT) and DBT (transformation). • Integration Leadership: Orchestrated seamless integration of NDMS (Notifiable Disease Management System) in Salesforce and NPHS Snowflake Datawarehouse enabling users to access NDMS data in Snowflake and build self-serve analytical reporting outputs for disease surveillance. • Data Governance: Implemented role-based access controls (RBAC) and automated data quality checks to ensure compliance with Te Whatu Ora Security Standards. • Performance Optimisation: Reduced Snowflake query latency by 40% through Snowflake virtual warehouse scaling and clustering key optimization for high-priority public health dashboards. • Agile Execution: Owned backlog prioritisation for 50+ Jira tickets, balancing bug fixes (e.g., data pipeline failures) with feature requests (e.g., real-time COVID-19 or Measles reporting) • Stakeholder Collaboration: Conducted Qualtrics surveys with clinical teams and “superusers” to validate backlog priorities, ensuring alignment with NPHS outbreak response strategies. • Team Metrics: Reported sprint velocity (42 combined story points/sprint avg.) and release burn-down reports to executives, enabling on-time delivery of at least ~90% of Q1 to Q4 2023 milestones.
