RecondOil has a patented technology to clean indultrial oils, enabling the circular and sustainable use of this unrenewable resource. - Commissioning, start-up and operation of RecondOil's systems at customer's sites. - Continuous improvement of the cleaning process in terms of oil quality, reduction of consumables usage and waste production. - Provide advanced customer support and service on site, including training of operators. - Contribute to technical development and project management in close cooperation with partners, consultants and suppliers. - Problem solving and trouble shooting systems. Designing and executing experiments for the development and re-engineering of the process units. - Interdisciplinary work entailing sales, supply chain, customer service, oil chemistry and formulation, condition monitoring, and scaling up lab test to industrial applications. - Build automatic python scripts for data collection of online information and creating visualizations to generate business insights and engineering improvements (Python packages: Pandas, matplotlib & plotly)

Advised by Professor Suzana Nunes. - Part of the Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP). - Cross-linking of pyridine groups present in block copolymer membranes to achieve organic solvent resistance for nano filtration applications. - Development of particles with gated nano pores for protein adsorption and purification. - Introduced techniques to precisely measure pore size and pore size distribution of block copolymer membranes. - Trained in Gel Chromatography Permeation and Scanning Electron Microscope (NovaNano). - Trained in atomic (AFM) and kelvin force microscopy (KFM) techniques (Dimension Icon and Agilent 5500).

Working under the supervision of professor Ulrich Wiesner. - Synthesis, purification, and characterization of different block copolymer through living anionic polymerization. - Development of block copolymer membranes through the combination of self-assembly and non-solvent induced phase separation process. - Study the effect of humidity on the properties of block copolymer membranes (Polymers 2017). - Measure and study several membrane properties, including pore size, pore distribution, rejection and permeation. - Trained to use Tescan Mira Scanning Electron Microscope, and Varian Cary Model 5000 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer.

Supervised by professor Farid Cortes Correa. - Enhance the adsorptive properties for silica nanoparticles, through surface modification with metal oxides. - Break an oil-in-water emulsion from the Cupiagua well, located in Colombia (Project in partnership with Equion Energia Limited). - Study wettability changes in rocks with the presence of silica nanoparticles.
