Conducted evaluations of federally funded public health programs to assess effectiveness and inform policy decisions. • Analyzed program effectiveness and equity-focused policies on HIV prevention social marketing for Black and Hispanic men who love men. • Co-led the development of a workforce needs assessment for DHP University, resulting in actionable insights to improve organizational capacity and internal workforce education.

National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence | Jan 2010 - Jul 2010

Intern

Assisted in the planning of NCADD’s annual legislative event, responsibilities included the identification of political leaders and their stances with regards to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, securing a venue, and formatting the agenda. Coordinated with local organizations for NCADD’s disabilities seminar. Researched adolescent alcohol use for community substance abuse prevention programs. Assisted in the preparation of materials for NCADD’s prevention programs, as well as NCADD’s underage drinking town hall meeting.
