National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence | Jan 2010 - Jul 2010

Intern

Assisted in the planning of NCADD’s annual legislative event, responsibilities included the identification of political leaders and their stances with regards to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, securing a venue, and formatting the agenda. Coordinated with local organizations for NCADD’s disabilities seminar. Researched adolescent alcohol use for community substance abuse prevention programs. Assisted in the preparation of materials for NCADD’s prevention programs, as well as NCADD’s underage drinking town hall meeting.
