CONNECT CHURCH | Jul 2022 - Dec 2022

Program Coordinator; Instructor

In this pilot program, I had the honor of helping the staff at Connect Church put together and run the first semester of ESL classes for Russian and Ukrainian speakers. The students and other teachers demonstrated grit and perseverance in response to the church’s generosity and willingness to invest in those affected by the conflict in Eastern Europe.

Data Consultant

In this role, I worked with a small team to transfer the company’s data to a new database. I also developed streamlined business processes to manage the flow of data and created videos and other documents to train the team on the new system. Outside of data migration, I assisted in reporting and research.

In this position, I taught English through content-related programs on topics including music, writing, research, leadership, presentation skills, pronunciation, business, aviation, and healthcare. Students came from different backgrounds and cultures, many of which are from South America and Asia. In addition to teaching English, I have also trained teachers on educational technology and have worked in curriculum development.

As a private piano teacher, I work with students of all levels and ages to set and achieve personalized goals in their musical journey. After preparing through weekly lessons and at-home practice, students showcase their skills in performance at competitions, contests, and recitals.
