Internal Consultant

• Turned around an underperforming retail business by conducting a full product audit, rebranding, and streamlining inventory management; achieved break-even in 3 months and sold the retail business within 12 months for a 100% return on investment due to increasing local competition, which squeezed profit margins. • Conducted process mapping to identify and eliminate non-value-adding business processes; researched and worked with software vendors, based on specific business needs, to implement new business processes. • Led a strategic pivot of the business model by implementing new sales channels on both Amazon and Shopify during COVID; conducted market research using third-party data to identify profitable niches. • Developed detailed financial forecasts and budgets, monitored cash flow, and conducted margin analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, resulting in improved profitability through targeted cost-cutting and pricing adjustments. • Oversaw end-to-end supply chain operations, negotiated vendor contracts, and implemented demand forecasting models that improved inventory turnover rates and reduced stockouts, leading to cost savings and improved customer satisfaction.
