Solutions Architect

• Define end‑to‑end logistics architecture across TMS, orders, shipments, visibility, capacity, finance, and data layers, translating business goals (service reliability, margin, cash cycle) into scalable, secure, and usable solutions. • Lead integration strategy and canonical domain models (orders, shipments, rates, carriers), setting standards for APIs and EDI so shippers, carriers, and tech partners interoperate with minimal friction. • Design event‑driven automations and orchestration patterns that improve shipment visibility, exception management, and cycle times, selecting iPaaS/ messaging approaches that fit business and throughput needs. • Govern platform choices, extensibility, and environment strategy (multi‑tenant, dev/test/prod), balancing build‑vs‑buy while ensuring security, compliance, and role‑based access controls. • Establish reliability and observability baselines—SLAs, monitoring, alerting, retries/compensation, and incident response—so freight flows remain resilient to partner and network variability. • Ensure data quality and master data management for locations, SKUs, carriers, and customers, enabling clean migrations, controlled cutovers, and ongoing stewardship of reference data. • Partner with Operations, IT, vendors, and customers to map processes to system capabilities, run discovery and solution design reviews, and guide delivery through change management and adoption. • Document solution patterns, canonical schemas, mappings, and pipelines; enable teams with training and reusable templates that accelerate onboarding and continuous improvement. Systems: McLeod, Mercury Gate, Turvo, Rose Rocket, Magnus, CargoWise, Project44, FourKites, EDI VAN, Digibee iPaas, Parade, Deposco, Sage
