Assistant BEM (Building Energy Modeling) Manager

 Utilized an Excel-based tracking system to monitor and assign reports to energy analysts, ensuring daily and monthly deadlines were met.  Executed quality assurance reviews of home energy reports, confirming RESNET standards were met.  Provided builders with solutions for supply chain shortages, leveraging data analysis to present alternative options and quantifying home energy efficiency impact.  Conducted energy modeling projects using Sketchup and Ekotrope, ensuring prospective new construction homes would meet IECC and HERS requirements for utility rebate eligibility.  Compiled and reported HERS data for over 10,000 new construction homes.  Liaised with project managers (from various builders) to satisfy various high priority ad hoc reporting requests.  Led interviews with prospective energy analysts and permit analysts.  Onboarded new hires providing comprehensive training in creating home models in Sketchup, IECC requirements by state, and entering data from inspection reports into Ekotrope.

 Completed 30-40 permit reports per day, ensuring energy code compliance for various builders and states.  Composed monthly permit pass/fail reports using Excel pivot tables.  Managed database containing permit report information for over 30,000 new construction homes.  Created energy modeling templates using Sketchup, Autodesk Design Review, REMRate, and Ekotrope.  Maintained working knowledge of different IECC compliance requirements for 11 states.  Supervised permit analysts ensuring adherence to daily deadlines and assisting as needed.
