My Work Experience

Where I've interned and worked during my career.

Karolinska Institutet | Feb 2020 - Present

Doctoral Student

Doctoral student in regenerative and developmental Neuroscience, Frisén lab. My field of work are regeneration of spinal cord injury and the development of the embryonic brain. I have experience both in hands-on experiments in the laboratory including planing of projects as well as data analysis and coding. For the latter, I have applied machine learning algorithms, python and R statistical analysis to get more out of my data.

Research Assistant

Research Assistant Position in Developmental Neuroscience in Frisén lab. I contributed to a project creating a method for introduction of DNA barcodes into precursor cells in the developing mouse brain. I was responsible for the single cell and data analysis pipeline including the custom made script for barcode extraction, reconstruction and filtering. I also conducted relevant experiments for the verification of the barcode integration and helped developing pipelines to calculate the relatedness of cell types in our data set

Karolinska Institutet | Jan 2018 - May 2018

Master Thesis Student

I wrote a python software for a collaborator of the lab to extract and reconstruct previously injected DNA barcodes in single cells. I also supported the lab in conducting pilot experiments for creating an Adult Human Brain Cell Map on the base of Single-Cell RNA sequencing data, in collaboration with the Allen Brain Institute.
