Los Angeles County Probation Dept. | Nov 2007 - Present

County Program Manager for THP-NMD Program; Probation Officer II

I am a Deputy Probation Officer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department. I spent the last 4 years as a data analysis managing a Transitional Housing program. While managing the program I have developed skills in programming and used analytics to help the program run more efficient. Data science has given me the tools to understand our clients’ demographics, learn our management style and discover abnormalities in our data. Years of experience in analyzing our data has given us insights on how to better serve our client. Most importantly, the use of visualization tools has helped me to effectively communicate data to decision makers.
