Data engineering --- • Design and construction of a data pipeline for the production of ~80 publication-ready graphics of the Afrozensus (Link below) • Prototyping and development of an open-source BaaS (backend-as-a- service) solution for the "Afrozensus Online Explorer”: an interactive web application for non-technical audience (Link below) • Development of database schemas for internal survey data management • Development and management of a robust, self-hosted, version-controlled code environment (GitLab) in cooperation with an IT service provider • Development of a data strategy and a catalog of requirements for a survey ecosystem with a central database including an API interface • Technical management of 6 external service providers • Organization of a hackathon with ~30 data scientists from the CorrelAid and Frauenloop communities (development of the challenges, management of the IT architecture, rights and role configuration, provision of synthetic data, process support) Data analysis --- • Data preparation and generation of ~700 automated reports • Go-to data person in the development process of new solutions for data evaluation and visualisation with the research team
