Postgraduate demonstrator on a range of undergraduate modules across the UCD Schools of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science and Medicine and Medical Science. This included a Bioinformatics module where I aided the professors in laboratory practicals explaining the various principles of sequence analysis, multiple sequence alignment and phylogenetic tree construction and molecular sequence database searching. I also demonstrated basic laboratory skills including an introduction to common microbial techniques including basic aseptic and immunological techniques, staining of bacterial cultures, Pharmaceutical and Food Microbiology and aided in the creation of wiki projects describing an area of molecular genetics using HTML.
