Research Assistent

Study the application of controlled burning in managing invasive species Hakea sericea and Acacia dealbata. Selection of invaded areas for experimental burns and characterize floristic composition and seed bank. Monitoring the execution of experimental burns, measuring fire behavior parameters, fuel moisture, meteorological parameters, and soil temperatures. Regular monitoring of burned areas to assess vegetation and fuel complex evolution. Coordinate with partner entities to plan and implement the mentioned actions. Collaboration in result analysis using R software for statistical analysis and Behave Plus for fire simulations. Participation in dissemination activities. Preparation of presentations and reports.
