HR Systems and Analytics Manager (iTrent, Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud/Power Bi)

As the HR Systems and Analytics Manager at Tideway, I develop key HR systems (iTrent) strategies and manage all HR System projects, leading the team in the provision of professional management services. I am the producer of all people related management Information for Tideway, producing not only for HR, but for other departments dependent on Legacy and company requirements. As an advanced user of Business Objects, I create bespoke and complex business reports for the purpose of company KPI’s and returns e.g Pensions and Gender/Ethnicity Pay Gap I lead on all system organisational changes and was responsible for a companywide reorganisation in January 2020. I continue to update the establishment as the project progresses through its different stages and action any organisational revisions and manage day to day establishment cleansing. I also develop and maintain advanced Workflow and Batch Process solutions within iTrent, streamlining process efficiencies to the HR Team and Company. I have project managed and configured a number of new system modules/ software’s, as required. These include – Electric theme switchover (April 2020), Web Recruitment, Recruitment, RSS Feed, Payroll Expenses and Expense Design, GDPR and Single Sign On (SSO). Using BI tools SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power Bi I am focused on using augmented analytic capabilities in to identify key insights and influences within the data, to leverage data analytics to partner with the business in respect of payroll, absence and general HR activity. I have created a number of interactive dashboards stories that are adjusted to different target audiences and have completely transformed the way we report on HR data within the company. This has allowed us to ‘dive deeper’ in our analysis and create impressive trends on establishment data, attrition, absences, payroll/expenses, and learning.

iTrent Business Operations Consultant

• Advise and assist staff and managers across all clients on iTrent management information. To develop iTrent Systems administration, setting up processes for dealing with issues and ensuring efficient payroll processing is maintained across 40+ payrolls. • Ensure effective delivery and use of the self service procedures and to ensure that the configuration of the system is regularly reviewed to maximise its value to each partner organisation. • Provide on site iTrent systems support and guidance to the HR team in Sutton, Merton, Kingston, Achieving For Children (AFC) and Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP). • Take responsibility for establishment control, including reorganisations, data cleansing and day to day maintenance of structures. • Take a lead on TUPE transfers for iTrent action by managing large scale data conversion and data migrations into the HR & Payroll system, ensuring a consistent approach in transitioning new payrolls and management of exit strategy. • To identify and analyse non-HR/payroll reporting needs and using the advanced business information tool, Business Objects (BI4), to deliver bespoke business reports, as required. • To deliver training sessions both “one to one” and in groups to assist all managers, HR Staff, Finance, School Bursars and day to day users of the iTrent system in maximising the use of the system for performance/ management information purposes. • Ensure that all necessary iTrent system access levels and validations are maintained and monitored. • Liaise with MHR, APS and internal clients in producing and testing required interfaces with other internal systems. • Ensure strict change control procedures are adhered to ensuring that all change control requests are reviewed to maintain the overall integrity of the system. • Take responsibility to test, design and implement new iTrent self service modules and software.
