Data Engineer Trainee

Designed and implemented end-to-end data pipelines for a baby products platform using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – GCS, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer (Airflow). Ingested and transformed large-scale data from multiple sources (via CDP) into a centralized data lake for downstream processing. Built ETL pipelines using Python & SQL to deliver client-specific datasets on a daily basis. Developed and scheduled automated retention jobs to identify and delete old data (3+ months) exceeding 100K records/day to manage storage efficiency. Created a monitoring pipeline to track and report monthly retention metrics. Handled daily data splits and transformations based on dynamic client needs, ensuring high reliability and data freshness.
