- Doing research to develop methodologies, instrumentation, and procedures to get high-resolution 3D models of the Moon and planets. - Search, collect, process, and combine the spatial space data obtained by different robotic spacecraft, especially LRO and Messenger. - Mapping the Moon, Mercury, and Mars (relief, geology, compiling the mosaics of the surface). - Design the future rovers routes based on the relief and geology multifactorial analysis. - Safety evaluation of the prospective landing sites on Mars and Moon based on the spatial analysis. - Reporting results of the research on international scientific events. Key accomplishments: - Found circumstantial evidence of water compounds existence on the Moon’s south pole - Compiled a first Mercury relief map ever - Designed a safe route for Russian lunar rover “Robot Geologist” - Did several 3D models and safety evaluations for several prospective landing sites on Mars and Moon. - Created the 3D model of Moon Surface for the prospective Russian Lunar base placement area. The model is supposed to be used for lunar robotic systems operators as a simulator of the real surface. - Attended six conferences, did four oral presentations and a number of poster ones.
