Risk Modeler

As an experienced risk analyst, I have played a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and reliable data inputs for the EAD/LGD (IFRS9 or IRB) model. By assisting with data cleaning, I have helped to improve the accuracy and reliability of critical data inputs. Additionally, using SAS/STAT, I have developed and tested collection models for bucket 0 and 1, resulting in improved risk management and forecasting capabilities (0.66 Gini, 0.83 AUC). Data Analyst PI

As part of my role, I was responsible for maintaining and developing a CRM data mart and other connected data marts. In order to support the development of new statistical models or improve existing ones, I developed ABTs (analytical base tables) and performed reporting, statistical modeling, and data mining using SAS 9.4M4-M7. To generate reports and analyze datasets, I designed and developed project- specific SAS programs. Additionally, I used SAS MACRO and SAS BASE modules to repair syntax errors in the code. In order to ensure data quality, I performed data analysis on various Teradata and Oracle databases using SAS/ACCESS. To create visual reports and dashboards, I utilized SAS/GRAPH. I also documented and reported any errors to database administrators. In order to ensure quality and consistency of the data provided to clients, I analyzed datasets and reported any anomalies. I was also responsible for preparing documentation for the maintained processes. As part of my role, I had experience using SAS Platform applications such as SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Data Integration Studio, and SAS DataFlux Data Management Studio. This allowed me to streamline data processing, model building, and reporting, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Collection Officer

As a collection officer, my main responsibility was to reach out to delinquent borrowers and collect the payments that they owed. I had a daily list of accounts to follow up on and I would call each borrower to remind them of their outstanding balances and negotiate payment arrangements. During my time as a collection officer, I learned how to handle difficult conversations with borrowers who were facing financial hardship. I also developed strong communication and negotiation skills, which helped me to find creative solutions for borrowers who were struggling to make their payments. Overall, my experience as a collection officer taught me a lot about the importance of empathy, communication, and problem-solving in the workplace. It was a challenging but rewarding role, and I'm grateful for the experience that I gained during my time in this position.
