Test Consultant (Beround assignment)

Self-regulated alternative splicing at the AHNAK locus. The Quality Control Bureau (KCB) is an independent administrative body (ZBO) and is managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) and the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). The most important task of the KCB is to inspect fresh fruit and vegetables, cut flowers and pot plants. To facilitate these inspections of import and export products, which are tripling in numbers in regards to Brexit, KCB is building new applications. As a software tester at KCB, I work in a team who provides insights into the risk and quality of the newly build application and its associated backoffice support system. It is my responsibility to prepare and execute test scripts, and to report bugs. In addition, I give feedback on the Use Cases.

Beround is a consultancy company that specializes in testing of software, infrastructure, migrations, websites and mobile devices. For us, testing means providing insights into quality and risk. To deliver those insights, we use a structured test approach that is pragmatic and focuses on the specific needs of our customers. As a test consultant of Beround, I work on the projects of our clients to meet the needs of their stakeholders. To do this, I focus on test preparation and test execution. I am TMAP-certified and experienced with Agile software development and IT-delivery models such as, Scrum, DevOps and Waterfall.

- Investigated the effects of breast cancer therapy on estrogen receptor signaling throughout the body - Generated and analyzed ChIP-seq data from endometrial tumors - Led several projects that resulted in peer-reviewed publications - Coauthored peer-reviewed publications - Awarded with three poster prizes at international conferences - Speaker at a conference in Greece - Collaborated with an international team - Peer-reviewed papers - Supervised a master student, a bachelor student, and a literature student.
