Developed and maintained Guidewire applications using object-oriented programming languages like Java, Gosu, and PostgreSQL for back-end database. Proficient in JUnit and GUnit testing methods as well as other common system validation techniques. Developed custom features, functionalities, and fixed bugs to meet business requirements. Tasks included debugging and fixing code errors, develop custom application and batch process implementation. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement as per coding standards and practices. Continuously merging code using Git Repository on Bitbucket and creating pull request for code reviews via CI/CD pipelines. Configure ClaimCenter to meet business needs, including setting up new claim types, configuring user roles and permissions, and developing business rules and validation rule sets. Developing new screens and changing XML files for PCF enhancements. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features. Using Agile Methodology for working towards the Guidewire project. Utilized Atlassian Jira as the software development tool to track story cards for assigned development tasks in each sprint.
