Research Assitant

Sorting of pitfall trap samples collected as part of a national dung beetle monitoring program across Australia. All dung beetle specimens were identified to species level where possible. Other coleopteran species were identified to family if they fell into Staphylinidae, Hydrophilidae or Histeridae. Samples were labelled and data was inputted into paper format which was then submitted to the lead research assistant to input data.
