Director of Systems and Inventory Control

Work with leadership team and external partners to set strategy, drive key business initiatives, and effect positive change across the company through selection, implementation, and, where applicable, maintenance of application systems. The initial focus will be on the timely launch and company-wide deployment of inventory management system to increase efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of materials handling, accounting, and reporting. The ongoing objective is to oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control within Thistle Farms.

Shared Trade: A Fair Share For Women | Jun 2014 - Jun 2016

Ecommerce and Operations Manager

Developed, launched and maintained Shared Trade ecommerce site (Shopify platform); managed all aspects of accounting from startup to integration with Thistle Farms in July 2015; set up shipping system and inventory control. Used knowledge gained through Shared Trade to transition Thistle Farms to the same shipping system, migrate Thistle Farms ecommerce site to Shopify platform and merge with Shared Trade, move Thistle Farms and Shared Trade accounting to server-hosted Quickbooks, and generate barcodes and labels in-house. Provide training on use of POS, GoogleApps, and other technology- related needs within Thistle Farms. Bring personal stories of women's social enterprises to life for the entire Thistle Farms community through GoogleEarth, images, and messages from individuals from around the world..
