CSUF Student Managed Investment Fund | Jun 2017 - May 2018

Head of Equity Research

 Co-led team of 20 students in managing equity portion of $30,000 (paper money) portfolio for CFA Society of Orange County (CFAOC), driving team performance through frequent communication.  Performed audits weekly to ensure equity portfolio complied with investment policy established by CFA Society of Orange County.  Prepared and presented well-received bi-annual investment updates to CFA of Orange County regarding fund strategy, market outlook, and performance.  Reviewed and provided feedback on other member’s equity research reports before sending them to the investment policy committee (IPC) for approval, leveraging industry-specific knowledge to enhance report quality.
