SaaS Data Specialist

• Manage and execute of the theoretical implementation of LSTM MLOps pipelines used for forecasting energy consumption of industrial customers, leading to more accurate results compared with the existing models such as multivariate adaptive regression splines and random forests • Collaborate in a cross-functional and innovative team in Europe and New Zealand to develop and conceptualize a trading algorithm employed in an operational pipeline for charging and discharging electricity using a battery energy storage system (BESS) • Lead the theoretical and practical implementation of financial-mathematics concepts such as option pricing (European and American styles), value at risk, and hedging of the products in the German energy market • Participation in agile DevOps teams with scrum planning as an independent developer of portfolio management components such as portfolio viewer and risk management, with responsibilities such as strategic thinking, data model design, component architecture, and layout, implementation, and testing, along with synthesizing reports, especially for documentation officers, testers and consultants

Data Scientist Researcher

• Built and conceptualized two state-of-the-art statistical models to provide estimates of population-genetic metrics from molecular data using iterative optimization procedures, resulting in more than a 30% decrease in data collection costs and a 10% increase in accuracy • Managed and led two projects for creating statistical pipelines to provide improved estimates of population genetic metrics by applying analytical & heuristic approaches, leading to accurate (unbiased) results and more than 20% increase in precision across different ranges of parameters validated by Monte-Carlo simulations • Developed the R package MLMOI as a tool for automatic data pre-processing (cleaning, preparation, and wrangling) of various molecular data formats and applying statistical analysis • Preparation, creation, and presentation of the published work: published two peer-reviewed papers in PLOS One and bioArxiv ; held altogether four presentations at the following conferences: ASTMH , German Mathematical society (awarded the best presentation at the AIMS Minisymposia), NNWK (awarded the best scientific paper) • Outlined and structured course syllabus in topics statistics & probability, along with supervising more than 50 students in using R to implement various statistical approaches and data visualization
