Graduate Teaching Assistant

I serve as Teaching Assistant for CSCI-116 Dynamic Modeling and Forecasting in Big Data of the Harvard University Extension Master of Applied Data Science program. This experience has provided additional skills and experience using advanced time-series analysis techniques. The class uses general regression techniques for estimates and model creation. The machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques used in class projects include ARIMA, dynamic regression, dimensional reduction, principal components, and dynamic factor models, rolling window and time-series cross-validation, Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) and volatility forecasting, cointegration and vector error correction models, bayesian methods and fourier transformations, recurrent neural network (RNN), long short term memory (LSTM), and large language models (LLM) methods. I provide 1-2 sections of students per term with assistance on academic topics and feedback on assignments. I also help manage the class Canvas portal.
