As Lead Data Scientist I am leading the delivery of new (and improving existing) machine learning applications for use by a variety of teams at Just Eat Takeaway.com. For example, driving better restaurant recommendations, more accurate delivery estimates, operational improvements, and better experiences for our customers, restaurants and drivers.

Lead Artificial Intelligence

As Lead Artificial Intelligence within Triple I was responsible for the creation of AI solutions for Vodafone, RTL XL and other A brands. Some of my projects: • AI Chatbot • Video Recommendation Engine • AI-based Video Analysis Some of the methods I use: • Supervised Machine Learning, such as Neural / Deep Learning Networks, Bayesian / Logistic regression methods and Support Vector Machines. I use these methods to analyze media and text. • Unsupervised Machine Learning, such as clustering, dimensionality reduction and rule learning techniques. I use these methods to discover patterns in big data.

Postdoctoral Researcher

As a postdoc researcher in Delft I am applying Artificial Intelligence techniques to the domain of smart energy grids using agent-based technology. The goal of the project is to investigate automated decision making mechanisms in smart energy grids, particularly focusing on negotiation approaches. This position is a part of the European ITEA M2M Grids project.
