Entel | Mar 2021 - Dec 2022

Business Intelligence Analyst

At Entel, I applied data science and machine learning techniques using AWS to optimize processes. I enhanced the product recommendation system through data analysis and data mining on Amazon S3 and EMR, increasing accuracy by 30%. I used AWS to develop PowerBI dashboards and measure NPS. I set up ingestions on Apache Hive with Amazon EMR, managing big data operations. I ran applications with Jenkins and Yarn, and integrated processes on GitHub using AWS CodeCommit and CodePipeline. Throughout these projects, I utilized R, Python, and SQL, and worked with Hadoop and Spark platforms.

National Funds Analyst

At CCAF Los Héroes, I led a project to optimize work time using data analysis and predictive models. I developed a demand prediction process with time series models and data mining. I was in charge of creating procedures on SQL Server, developing Python bots for automatic database management, and handling the extraction, transformation, and loading of data in Google Cloud. Finally, I designed a PowerBI dashboard for data visualization and report generation, also using Excel.

I improved product classification using clustering analysis and a Bayesian model, automating the process and enhancing accuracy by 25%. I used SQL, Excel, and PowerBI for data analysis, visualization, and report generation.

Customer Analyst

As the person responsible for analyzing customer behavior and needs, I led a customer service improvement project using the NPS index. Through data analysis techniques and using SQL and Excel, I identified and implemented areas for improvement with the customer service team, significantly increasing the NPS. The results and impact of the improvements were communicated through reports and visualizations in PowerBI, demonstrating effective use of business intelligence.
