Software Development Engineer – CloudWatch Console Platform 06/2022 – Present • Orchestrated and led three organization-wide campaigns, each involving over 10 engineers, to execute critical, high-impact, and sensitive changes with precision and success. • Spearheaded the design and implementation of an organization-wide infrastructure change, effectively removing a crucial roadblock for an important company-wide objective. • Played a pivotal role in a significant refactoring initiative for the Console server, which included updating decade-old core dependencies. This effort not only unblocked a key company-wide goal but also enhanced system performance, increasing available memory by approximately 19% and reducing server build time by a remarkable 79%. Additionally, deployment time per wave decreased by 20 minutes, while core performance metrics such as LCP TM99 improved by 19% and TTFB TM99 by approximately 39%. Average server latency also saw a notable reduction of 17%, with P99 latency slashed by 50%. • Innovated by developing a customizable, user-friendly package enabling the team to conduct configurable Gamedays and generate dashboards with a single command. This streamlined process facilitated multiple Gamedays in a day, allowing comprehensive testing and benchmarking of major server changes prior to deployment. • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship by conducting two organization-wide knowledge sharing sessions, as well as two team-specific knowledge sharing sessions. Additionally, served as an onboarding buddy for two new hires, contributing to their successful integration into the team. • Enhanced Console security and scalability through active participation and implementation of recommended campaigns, ensuring robustness and reliability of the platform.
