Behavioural Science Project Manager

• Direct initiative promoting gender equality in the workplace across 3 country offices in Asia through the Gender at Work Analytical Framework to assess the often invisible structures and norms of gender bias in organizations; co-creating and evaluating behaviourally- and culturally-informed interventions • Design games based on the Octalysis Framework, Girls Decide curriculum, and evidence on quality play, using research-based LLM prompting to teach girls in 4 countries how to advocate for causes; assessing impact via surveys and observations on the skills they have learned & applied through play • Lead project increasing girls' school enrolment in rural Afghanistan through a series of 10 activities tailored using generative AI prompt techniques to address behavioural barriers among caregivers; measuring impact through a cluster-randomized control trial, surveys, and school admin data • Spearhead project reducing child marriages & adolescent pregnancies in Philippines by increasing attendance of 1016 households at family development sessions with interventions developed through the ABCD Framework; assessing impact via cluster-randomized factorial trial • Pioneered 4 inaugural sludge audits for reducing excessive, unjustified administrative frictions in internal processes; reducing new hire onboarding paperwork time by 50% and effort required to complete expense claims forms by 33%, enhancing operational efficiency and employee experience, and presented findings to SCI’s global leadership team • Facilitated a behaviourally-informed Facebook ads campaign with 6 Asia country teams; directing 8 million users to their national COVID-19 vaccination registration websites (a step closer to getting vaccinated) at an average of only US$0.04 per link click • Co-develop and deliver capability building programs to 45 internal staff from teams across Africa and Asia Pacific to apply behavioural science lens, tools and methods in improving their programmes

Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau | Aug 2020 - Jul 2021

Researcher, Centre for Anti-Corruption Studies (CACS)

• Piloted division’s inaugural playbook, advocating for the use of behavioural science to 11 internal units in developing more effective anti-corruption communications through an ALOHA framework • Analysed data of 1000+ survey respondents’ corruption perception and presented coherently to internal stakeholders findings and recommendations, including a behavioural insights intervention nudging people to report corrupt acts • Led and advised on the conceptualisation of quantitative researches on 150+ officers’ experiences with hybrid working model and risk management through collaborations with teams across the Bureau • Mentored and supervised an intern undertaking an applied research project that involved literature review, leading in-depth interviews, product design, report writing and oral presentation

Behavioural Researcher • Gamified UX and reframed the value of less popular choices of an e- commerce business I founded in 2018, piquing customers’ interest, selling out within 3 hours, and published on Medium’s UX Collective • Analysed qualitative data of 15 interviews, drafted pre-final manuscripts, and published research study identifying individual attributes and environmental factors as two emerging themes influencing career and employment decisions for individuals with disabilities in four Gulf countries Health Coach (03/2019-05/2019, 09/2011-08/2012) • Single-handedly coached 8 youths with disabilities at an annual futsal tournament after training them for only 2 months, boosting their health, wellbeing, and football skills • Coached youths at local football legend’s academy, developing their love for the game, positive attitude, and technical skills
