Green Enterprise Solutions (Pty) Ltd | Oct 2022 - Present

Junior Software Engineer

Having worked as a software Engineer at Green Enterprise Solutions, I've learned a lot about Android Development, looking at it's complex databases and how to implement the DAO, repositories, main database along with their models, within recyclerviews using both Kotlin and Java. I have learned the importance of having your UI views properly conducted and placed and had hands on practice implementing API's through the view using the MVVM model. I have also used Swift and SwiftUI the experience of Using Xcode and implementing coredata as well as data through Firebase has brought my level of understanding in software Engineering to a new level. Having used both Swift and kotlin, the transitions between the two platform were slightly easier due to the similar languages. I've had the best teachers and I cant wait to extend my career and new found knowledge. Ive also dibbed and dabbled into AI machine learning using Python, I created a road traffic sign simulator which recognized traffic signs. this can eventually help with traffic zones for drivers and so forth, these projects can also be found on Github. I've touched on SQL databases and EDR's and learned how to apply them as well. The overall experience has helped me with great understanding on these things, I have now also worked with Flutter and find it to be quite easy to use for simple products.
