Remote work from Madrid with teams of developers located in Argentina and Czech Republic. > Achieved responsibilities: Define product strategy with internal/external stakeholders to adopt their perspective & respond to business problems, design most intuitive user experience, explicate requirements and define product roadmap. Analyze business value, prioritize features and drive delivery through Agile methodology Leverage experience and knowledge of both NLP and language industry. Lead the development team, explain stakeholders' needs. Participate in team's daily stand-ups, planning, grooming, reviews and retrospectives, inspect the product progress at the end of each sprint. Quotes for extra scope requests. - Team management: interviews and selection of linguists, creation of training kits for each phase of the project, setup of collaborative online tools for knowledge capitalization and sharing, capacity management, animation of weekly meetings with internal colleagues. - Innovative initiatives: - Specification of the cloud environment for remote worldwide collaboration: SharePoint website and virtual machines used via remote desktop connection. - Maintenance of the public SharePoint front office shared with linguists for the operational details: tasks management, assignments, planning, estimated and actual durations. Wiki and forums for sharing queries and best practices. - In a private back office of the SharePoint website, creation of an Excel dashboard with data connections to the tasks of the public site to control financials on top of the operational data: hourly rates, forecast vs. actuals, internal vs. external, margins, monthly revenue distribution. - Agile Scrum implementation using built-in SharePoint features, creation of a backlog sprint template. - Development in Vb.net to split huge XML files (2 GB to 15 Go) and extract/ format information (XSLT). - Creation of a set of scripts in Perl, VBscript and MS-DOS to unify and automate the compilation and testing of binary files and tests runs.
