Microverse | Sep 2022 - Present

Technical Curriculum Designer

We believe the place where you're born shouldn't determine your opportunities in life. Microverse is an online school for remote software developers that doesn't charge students anything until they get hired. Students learn remotely and collaboratively with peers around the world, receive support from mentors and a team of professional coaches, and don't pay anything until they land life-changing jobs in software development. Thousands of people from more than 100 countries apply to join Microverse every month, and hundreds of employed alumni from Colombia to Nigeria are making 2-10x their previous salary working for companies like Microsoft, VMWare, Huawei, and Globant. We're on a mission to train and connect 1 million people with remote jobs by 2030. My role is that of Technical Curriculum Designer, where I: > Build educational programs for aspiring software developers using a Backwards Design approach > Test and work with our custom Learning Management System > Provide engaging and practical technical workshops
