Software Engineer

• Worked with a team of 8 people to manage, operate and support low latency asset management and brokerage platform. This SaaS application is used by more than 30 clients across Africa. • Automated manual back-office processing through scripting and automation engine • Designed and integrated Camunda workflow tool with the core application for back office processes. • Trained about 100 employees of our clients (from Afrinvest and ARM) on the use Camunda for their back office workflow activities. • Integrated Uganda Market data API with our application to receive real time data from Uganda Stock Exchange using Java Web Socket. • Lead a team of 2 in writing sample codes on how to integrate the company’s APIs using Java, Python and NodeJS. • Worked with a team of 3 in writing a middle-ware application using Spring Boot and Spring Web-flux to integrate Stanbic Bank Uganda API with our core application. • Participated in Weekly stand-ups for appraisal on tasks completed, current task and next task to be carried out.

• Underwent intensive, hands-on and practical training in Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, Software Engineering and Business Management. • Part of the team responsible for developing APIs ranging from E-commerce, E-learning platform, Blog, Banking application using Java, Spring Boot, and Python • Designed and implemented Entity Relationship Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams amongst others. • Carried out unit, behavioral and integration tests on application functionalities • Carried out Mock tests using Mockito and Mockmvc • Implemented Authentication and Authorization on server endpoints using Spring Security.
