Information Security Analyst

Achievements: • Automated a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet generating an economy of 18 hours per month for 5 Senior Consultants. Doing simple math, it will convert to 50 minutes per day, which means 18 hours per month, considering only working days (~22 days). This equates to a monthly savings of $477 (an annual salary of $56,000 according to Glassdoor) and makes spreadsheets free of human error. Main activities: • Developed Power BI dashboards for security assessment initiative. • Automated and managed loading and transformation processes of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets using Power Query. • URL and domain analysis, considering the main security standards in the industry (NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001) and metrics such as DKIM, DMARC, and SPF for domains. • Elaborated technical security reports in different domain areas (Network, Access and Identity Management, RPA) to elucidate security aspects and mitigate risks. • Evaluated new solutions and integrations to recommend security control to mitigate risks. • Promoted risk assessment for a large company in the oil and gas sector.
