After six months took over responsibility of quarterly/annual client reporting for two additional funds. Due to sudden personnel changes had to quickly ensure reporting continuity, but managed to deliver all reports on time. Assisted in in-sourcing of web marketing for vacant premises resulting in cost savings of 100 000 €/year. Helped build own leasing website and Google Analytics/Adwords tools for it. Build new IRR Excel template, did UAD testing for a new platform, automated most of the recurring reporting tasks, scripted a ggmap tool for mapping properties of a fund.

Researched, backtested and presented a novel method to screen equities for uncompensated distress risk. Used Bloomberg to run EQS/EQBT/FTST, Excel to further analyze and PowerPoint to present for both the equity and credit desks. Supported quantitative strategies with backtesting and risk profiling. Quickly discovered potential conflicts in return profiles of certain strategies. Research was done with Excel and Bloomberg. Built automatic Excel tools for default risk models and macroeconomic analysis. Provided R code in Markdown format for risk-based equity portfolio weighting options and ran backtests.

Researched and presented an outlook on new smart beta strategies and their valuations. Read academic journals, industry blogs and books to quickly grasp the trends. Conducted the analysis with Excel on Bloomberg data. Built Excel tools for credit analysis, REIT valuation, FX investing backtesting, financial risk detection and option strategies. Usually handed a first version within days of getting the assignment and worked constantly to improve the tools. Assisted the equity desk on Bloomberg backtesting possibilities.
