Technician at the the Plant Molecular Biology lab (Medical Biochemistry department/UFRJ). • I developed the Bioinformatics Linux infrastructure for lab, setting up a server and workstations; • I assisted lab personnel with tools for sequence analysis (BLAST), genome assembly (ARACHNE), phylogenetics and fingerprinting; • The pipelines I developed in shell and Perl were used in two sequencing projects: SUCEST (sugar cane ESTs) and RIOGENE (Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus bacterium).
