Associate Director, Data, Analytics, Research and DE&I

Co-founded Ravinia’s first Data Analytics Research Team (DART), serving as Associate Director of a two-person team that delivered strategic, data-driven support across the organization. By 2024, the team had grown to five members under my leadership. Served as lead data analyst—managing internal data repositories, overseeing ETL processes, and developing enterprise-wide BI resources in Tableau and Looker Studio. These tools centralized data from marketing, e-commerce, finance, and customer engagement, significantly improving cross-departmental decision-making. Built predictive models using R and Python to forecast financial performance and audience behavior, and led the management of a $40M+ P&L, leveraging over 15 years of historical sales, finance, and attendance data. Played a key role in advising executive leadership on pricing strategies, segmentation, and long-term growth planning. Continued to champion the organization’s DE&I strategy, guiding its evolution into an independent leadership function with dedicated resourcing and institutional support in 2023.

Manager of Data, Research and DE&I Initiative

Under new leadership, migrated into role leading business intelligence initiatives to support strategic decision-making across marketing, audience development, and revenue planning. Spearheaded a cloud data migration, consolidating key business data in BigQuery to enhance accessibility and unlock insights for the Marketing, Finance, and Artistic teams. Managed several digital marketing strategies—including Google Ads and SEO campaigns—that generated over $650K in direct revenue with an 18:1 return on ad spend. Through refined audience segmentation, I helped increase marketing efficiency and reach high-value audience groups. Supported the organization’s post-COVID recovery, leading customer research and business analysis that informed operational and pricing strategies for Ravinia’s 2021 re-opening. Lead the organization’s DE&I strategy—driving cross-functional engagement and increasing visibility and alignment around institutional equity efforts across staff and board leadership.

Manager of Client Services and Analytics

Created and led a new function combining marketing data insights and customer experience functions, designed to integrate guest feedback, sales data, and digital analytics into strategic customer focused decision-making. This role marked a major step in shifting Ravinia toward a more data-informed strategy to audience engagement, operational planning, and marketing investment. Developed interactive dashboards to monitor customer sentiment, ticket sales trends, and marketing ROI—tools that became essential for revenue forecasting and campaign optimization. Lead the launch of an integrated in-person and digital guest support program, transforming service channels into proactive, insight-generating tools that increased customer satisfaction and retention. Designed an in-house customer research strategy, eliminating $150K in annual third-party costs while deepening our direct connections with our customers. Directly supported over $1M in strategic marketing investment decisions, helping shift the organization’s media mix from traditional print and ad placements to a more agile digital, radio, and partnership-driven strategy. In 2020, spearheaded Ravinia’s livestreaming strategy in response to COVID-19 closures, producing a series of digital events that reached over 100K viewers and maintained audience connection during a critical time.

Manager of Public Relations and Social Media

Conceptualized and secured approval for Ravinia’s first full-time social media role, recognizing early opportunities to expand digital marketing and deepen community engagement. What began as a new initiative quickly evolved into a vital part of the organization’s communications strategy, laying the groundwork for Ravinia’s long-term digital growth. Developed and executed data-driven strategies for both social media and public relations—leveraging audience analytics, campaign performance metrics, and social listening tools like Cision, Meltwater, and Sprout Social to optimize messaging and engagement. Grew Ravinia’s social presence significantly, expanding Facebook to 100K+ followers, Instagram to 15K+, and Twitter to 10K+, while also managing email marketing efforts that helped grow the subscriber base from 150K to over 350K. Led media relations and press outreach efforts, securing over 100 high-profile editorial placements annually, including artist interviews, previews, and national event coverage. Created integrated digital marketing resources that combined PR performance, SEO data, and audience sentiment, and conducted cross-platform campaign analysis to optimize social, email, and paid advertising initiatives.

Intern, Communications and Web

Supported Ravinia’s digital presence during a time of strategic transformation, collaborating with internal departments to identify website content needs and implemented a shared editorial calendar to bring visibility and alignment to content planning. Contributed directly to web updates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—ensuring that performance and accessibility standards were met. Provided additional hands-on support to the Graphics, Photography, Marketing, and Public Relations teams, gaining exposure to integrated content workflows and campaign development. Recognizing emerging opportunities in digital engagement, established Ravinia’s early presence on social, professional, and review platforms—laying the groundwork for what would become the organization’s long-term brand voice and online community strategy.
