Mentor: Kristopher Bedka Co Mentors: Charles Liles, John Cooney Worked with the Data Science Team to detect a rare climatic phenomenon "Above Anvil Cirrus Plumes and Overshooting Tops" which helps identify severe thunderstorm signatures. I have built a UNET- LSTM deep learning model architecture which improved this detection in satellite imagery.

Supervisor: Brittany Edwards As the Data Analyst Intern at HAA, I was responsible for observing, analyzing, and reporting in-depth patterns of meta-data. I worked closely with Houston Arts Alliance Grants Coordinator, Director, and CEO. Some of my key accomplishments include: -> Evaluating and analyzing the current program locations scoring model and identified deficiencies. -> Identified >58% of zip codes within the City of Houston Limits which had less access to arts and cultural events using Tableau -> Applied Correlation Analysis on key variables to provide insight on necessary enhancements for future grant cycles using RStudio and Tableau. -> Synthesized 3 years of applicant data from nonprofit organizations to produce reports. -> Provided enhanced presentations by highlighting significant findings and recommended changes.
