Work as a Research Fellow to understand the host-pathogen interaction between Drosophila melanogaster and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The goal of the project to establish an infection model for Drosophila and pathogen and understand the resistance of bacteria in the presence of agent Triclosan. Technical Skill: 1. Establish Infection model by several growing generation in Fly medium. 2. Molecular biology skill like CFU, Spectroscopy, PCR, QRT-PCR. 3. Plasmid Isolation, Transformation, Primer Designing etc. 4. Drosophila handling, Crossing, Dissection of Trachea and Gut. 5. Fluorescence microscopy of tissue sectioning.
