Technical Support Supervisor

Headed the Product support staff under the marketing department which includes product design software like AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, 3DS Max and other Mechanical design software. My main task is to introduce the software to the technical community by conducting small or large group product presentations by demonstrating the software and its capabilities. This is done every time a new version or product comes out. Ensure that our company addresses the technical concerns that may arise after a client purchases a software or product from us. Conduct technical training for companies purchasing the software to prepare them and ensuring its optimal use. Visit companies to ensure that the software they purchased is performing as expected and to address any issues they may have. Trained in Autodesk Singapore every 6 months for new software versions/and or updates.

Staff Engineer

Initial task was to write the company’s ISO9002 documentation and certification requirement. This entails documenting every single part of the production process within the ISO9002 format. As a newly graduate, I was given the initial task of overlooking the entire manufacturing process and look for potential to save on a production process and eventually leading to financial savings. We call this the Quality Circle. Teams present their ideas and are measured on the savings achieved which arise from consistent brainstorming and application of 5S or the powerful Lean Manufacturing tool. As a shift supervisor, an engineer’s task is to improve production by eliminating downtime and waste. This is achieved by a rigorous maintenance schedule and very productive people always looking for potential source of problems. Monitor the glass from its source to make sure it is reaching our glass forming department in the right condition to form into a bottle. It is also my task that production batch will go to waste by always checking production output on a regular basis, by catching a problem before it gets worse. 4/12/2018 Lastly, being a supervisor, I make sure that the shift personnel gets taken cared of well and needs are met to ensure a consistent and efficient production line. I was trained In Harima, Japan for 1 month under the Yamamura Glass Company to equip me for this job.
