My Work Experience

Where I've interned and worked during my career.

Ministry of Finance of Latvia | Apr 2012 - Present

Deputy Head of Tax Administration and International Tax Cooperation division

The current job is mostly related to drafting legislation in the international taxation field, as well as representing country in the discussions in international organisatiotions (OECD, EU). Not much data analysis is involved (however I use R where it is possible), but data analysis skills I developed during my master's study, as well as am learning R on my spare time every day.
