Senior Lead Scientist

My key attainments include * I led a team in creating specific drug formularies for each cancer indication using NCCN guidelines. The team worked on developing various digital drug models for each cancer drug and capturing their relationship with biological cancer pathways and cancer genomic aberrations. Contributed to the company's advancement of precision medicine by providing a centralized source of information on drugs, their properties, and their relationship with cancer genomics. * I led a team collecting publicly available cancer genomics patient datasets from data sources like cBioPortal, which include TCGA, MSK, etc. Also, we created an internal database to capture available data points such as clinical drug responses, demographics, and other information. * Also, the team worked on creating a database of genomics of different cancer cell lines and captured various drugs' in-vitro drug responses in terms of IC50 data. We have developed an internal algorithm to process IC50 data to classify them as sensitive and resistant cell lines per drug. * Worked with a cross-functional team to execute and validate large datasets to establish a correlation between computation models and derived clinical responses and collaborated with clinicians and data scientists to investigate the details. We also worked on the publication of the results in peer-reviewed journals. * I Led the team in daily task delegation and project-related decision-making. I acted as a liaison between team members and upper management to ensure clear and effective communication. I developed and implemented project plans and timelines to ensure the successful completion of projects. Regularly evaluated team members' performance and provided feedback to improve overall team efficiency.

Lead Scientist

My key accomplishments include * I led a team to create a digital drug library database that contains information on drug targets, MOA, PK, PD, and other relevant parameters. Developed a user-friendly interface and search functionality to make the information accessible to researchers and other stakeholders. * I worked with a scientific team on patenting a combination of nelfinavir, metformin, and rosuvastatin for treating cancer caused by aberrations in PTEN/TP53. Conducted research to support the patent application, including a literature review and analysis of preclinical data. Assisted in drafting patent claims and provided technical support to patent attorneys. I have collaborated with patent attorneys to file and secure a patent grant for the combination therapy. * I researched different pharmaceutical companies' drugs in the development pipeline and evaluated their potential for precision medicine applications. And developed marketing materials, including presentations and brochures, to communicate the value of precision medicine to potential partners and clients. * Worked on patent management for the company's portfolio by reviewing details such as prior art and developing strategies to overcome issues related to the inventiveness of the patent application; conducted prior art searches to identify potential problems and developed strategies to overcome them. * Part of the corporate recruitment and training team. I have led training sessions for new hires and current employees. In addition, I mentored team members in day-to-day development activities, providing guidance and support as needed. Also, I assisted in developing training materials.

macrophages. * Creating validation datasets and implementing techniques to optimize models for training data. Executing network perturbation studies to gain insights into underlying biological mechanisms.

Cellworks Life | Jun 2007 - Nov 2007

Biomodeling Intern

My internship includes * Completed biomodeling internship training, scoring an A+ in all coursework and assessments. * Developed critical standalone pathway models for immunology cell signaling. Examples of such pathways include Interleukins, TNFs, and Arachidonic acid metabolism. * Validated the developed models using existing literature datasets. Demonstrated their effectiveness in simulating the relevant biological systems. * Presented the results in internal meetings, contributing to the research project's progress.
