Internet of Things Intern

A ten-week remote research internship investigating the implementation of IoT devices for small-to-medium-sized enterprises. Devices were programmed, backend code was written and this was submitted at the end of the internship. Challenges included frequent troubleshooting and research. There were weekly progress meetings and interns presented their work at an IoT web event on two occasions. Whilst the projects were individual, interns were encouraged to share knowledge and I owe much of the knowledge I have of writing backend programs to these collaborations and through the mentoring that I received.
