QuidelOrtho | Jun 2022 - Present

Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

This role requires financial analysis, budget development, forecast projections, project support, and primary business partnering for QuidelOrtho's Global Quality, Regulatory & Compliance (QRC) department. Within this role, I'm the main finance partner for QuidelOrtho's Head of Global QRC, Head of Regional QRC, Director of Compliance, Head of Product Quality, and the Directors of Manufacturing Quality for our Rochester (NY), Raritan (NJ), Pompano (FL), and Pencoed (UK) plants. The group includes over 550 employees, has Gross Spend of roughly $75M, and spans the globe (I support individuals in the US, UK, EMEA, LATAM, Japan, ASPAC, and China). On a regular basis, I lead the group's monthly commentary, quarterly forecast updates, annual operating plan creation, and headcount planning. However, I also spearhead several projects, including a historical cost analysis, a headcount optimization plan, and the creation of several dashboards. Outside of these normal duties, I'm working to automate our month-end reporting process. For this task, I'm coordinating with our Global Data Analytics team to structure a proper data pipeline into our data warehouse and the creation of Power BI Dashboards. I regularly use Power Query, VBA, and custom scripts in my work to reduce complexities and increase reporting accuracy. I've used these techniques to reduce the Global QRC's month-end reporting process from 15 days to 5 days.
